This original play by Mad River Theatre Works shows how Eugene Bullard’s determination and perseverance helped him to overcome discrimination throughout his life. It is an uplifting tale of vision and hope.
Recommended for 3rd – 12th grades.
All performances are free and open to the public. Registration required for all guests. All matinees begin at 11:00 am and last approximately an hour.
A family-friendly event features music, food booths, gaming zone, and a carne asada contest. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, as this year will be a blast. Admission is $5 or FREE with a valid Alamo Colleges ID.

This event provides fun for kids of all ages in an alcohol-and-smoke free environment. This popular event has been the source for laughter and springtime family magic since 1991. The event features delicious food, inflatables, train ride, fire engine display, petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, cascarones, regalia, and games. An entertainment stage showcases puppets, cloggers, mariachis, and contemporary Christian music praise bands. For almost three decades, thousands of participants have enjoyed a stellar Fiesta experience.
Parking and admission are free.

The annual Fiesta Pops concert features the music, dance, and culture of Mexico and Latin America through the local talents of San Antonio. Enjoy the beautiful sounds of Campanas de America and a colorful corps of dancers with the Guadalupe Dance Company. This program is sure to get you into the Fiesta spirit!

Over 3800 butterflies will be released throughout the day during this amazing festival that starts with a moving opening ceremony at the Veterans Memorial that includes an initial butterfly release to honor those who have lost their lives in the past year. After that the festival opens up and attendees can enjoy crafts, games, bounce houses, wonderful food, an exotic butterfly flight house and much more.
Alcohol, pets, and firearms are NOT allowed on the EmilyAnn grounds.
There is no charge for admission but donations are greatly appreciated.
The San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology will be open to the public for family friendly fun. Guests will see an array of exhibits depicting the world’s earliest innovations in computing, telecommunications, and electrical power.
