DreamWeek – Activism Fair @ Coates Esplanade at Trinity University
Jan 18 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

The “Activism Fair” arose in response to the events in Charlottesville, the numerous mass shootings that have taken place in the U.S in the past year, as well as the attack on undocumented persons perpetuated by the Trump administration. Many of the students on Trinity’s campus felt the familiar tragic sting that gripped the students with the anger and sorrow. These feelings were left undirected since many of the students were unsure how to meaningfully contribute to the issues at hand. Thus, the Activism Fair was born. The hope is to connect students and community members with non-profit organizations that are in need of volunteers. In this way, they will help local organizations by increasing their volunteer base, for any upcoming projects they may have, while simultaneously pairing passionate people with causes they care about.
